You are invited to join and support families whose lives have been touched by miscarriage, stillbirth, or neonatal loss at Naperville's 7th Annual A Walk to Remember, which will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011, along the Naperville Riverwalk.
Funds raised will be applied toward the development of the Wings of Hope Angel Garden at Edward Hospital and the Edward Foundation SHARE Program.
The Wings of Hope Angel Garden will serve as a place of reflection and hope for grieving families whose lives have been touched by miscarriage, stillbirth, or neonatal loss. The garden is scheduled to be completed this spring. Funds will also be applied toward the SHARE Program;
the mission of which is to raise public awareness, promote research, and provide support to parents and families. Help SHARE continue its mission touching lives, healing hearts, and giving hope.
The day will begin with a memorial service including music, poetry, guest speakers, and a reading of the babies' names that we hold so dearly in our hearts. A Walk to Remember will follow, which is a leisurely two-mile walk around the beautiful Riverwalk Park in downtown Naperville. A raffle will be held on the day of the Walk, winners need not be present to win.
All family members, friends, and pets are welcome to join us on this very special day. Our babies have touched the lives of many and this day of healing should be experienced together.
You can donate and/or register for the walk online.
